Activities:

 

• Feasibility and Design Concept;

• Identification and resolution of harbourmaster and stakeholder interests;

• Identifying and incorporating national guidance and standards for pedestrian and cycle bridge design;

• Coordinated bridge fabricator and structural piling information ensuring key design parameters were maintained;

• Sourced a suitable specialist and commissioned an independent health and safety review of implications to water users (completed by the Cardiff Harbourmaster);

• Completed all planning application information and commissioned/coordinated supplementary consultant reports;

• Discussed the bridge cladding requirements with several potential suppliers and obtained quotations;

• Detailed design coordination;

• Monitored construction drawings and processes to ensure the consented scheme was delivered.
